Books I Read

The books I choose to read are probably different then most. I don’t enjoy fairy tails. They just don’t seem to interest me personally. I like a book involving some drama. No, I am not some drama craving girl I just find it interesting to read about. Maybe it’s the teen thing, reading about: drugs, sex, and drama. Its just something I find interesting.
For example yes I think the Twilight/ Harry Potter especially movies are really interesting and enjoyable. Movies I wouldn’t turn down to go see if someone asks. But as soon as I pick up the book to read I just cant get interested in the book itself. Reading about something unrealistic just doesn’t fascinate me, even if I really enjoy the movies related to the novel. I don’t think the unrealistic part interests me because it could never be true.
For example a girl getting caught by a fire breathing dragon and then they become best friends, or a teen whose parents just got divorced and she turns into this mega slut to help deal with her parents situation. The teen slut sounds way more interesting. As strange as it sounds.
I think I may like the teen drama books the most because I am a teenager, and some of the stuff you can relate to yourself or maybe remind you of someone you know personally, or just straight up interesting. Although, not only do I prefer to read the exciting drama books I enjoy it.

  1. This is a thoughtful blog! Yes, fantasy is just not for some people. If you like drama, I think you'd really enjoy Crank.

Also, even though it's considered science fiction, I think you would love Hunger Games.
