Overview

Did I like this book? This is a question I haven’t exactly decided on yet, the ending has me stumped. I can’t exactly decide wither I like it or not. I thought the book started out super good; I like the whole murder misery theme. I predicted the book to be where Micah knew what happened to Zach. I think that’s more of where I wanted to it go at least. Her turning into a wolf was definitely a surprise, at first I thought this was super weird and turned more of a reality book into a completely fake book. Although I thought it was neat how the “white boy” was also a were wolf. This threw in a twist, although after finding out it makes more sense to play in with the rest. Because he didn’t have a purpose and now he does. The ending where Micah’s parents disown her doesn’t make any sense to me, why would they do this? Yes they left her behind at the greats where I don’t see how you could never leave your child behind especially when she so badly didn’t want to go stay with them.  Or where she turns into wolf at the Biology teacher’s house… it was such a big deal when she turned into wolf and how loud and everything it was but it was alright when she did it there. But I guess yes I would recommend this book to someone. It just has that interesting twist that keeps you wondering.

Where I Liike to Read!

Reading isn’t a big deal to me. But when I do read it has to be done correctly for me to be able to understand fully what I am reading. To fully be able to understand what I am reading I have to read in a learning environment. My favorite place to read would be my bed room. This is because it’s always quiet in my bedroom; I don’t have a TV for distraction or a laptop (sadly). My bedroom is upstairs away from those distractions, including my brother and mother. Don’t get me wrong I would love to have a TV and laptop but I do believe it would take away from my studying. I never get anything accomplished when those things are around. I have tried reading in my living room while my brother is watching a show… which I can read them but I do not always comprehend what I am reading, their fore I would rather watch some TV. Which leads my bedroom to my favorite place to read. During the summer I also really enjoy reading outside. I love being outside on beautiful days and when it’s not beating hot out it’s nice to swig on my porch bench swing and read a book.  It is just peaceful outside, most of the time. Although if it’s not an important book or something I don’t really enjoy you will catch me out of my favorite places to read. But a peaceful zone is always important to me.

Past to Future Readings

I find the books I am reading now to be similar to the ones I have read in the past but also very different. Although I do believe this could be to age, I also agree my minds knowledge has advanced a lot. Causing my mind to wonder upon a new learning experience.
In the past I remember reading picture books, Judy Bloom‘s books, The BFG (big friendly giant), Where the Red Fern Grows, although all great enjoyable books my mind was wondered past the pictures and easy text. Now I find myself reading more about teen things, probably due to my age, about partying, drugs, alcohol, sex, and drams. These are more of the type of books that interest me today.
I do see books as a learning experience, they are made to further peoples education. Not only non-fiction books but fiction books also. The “smarter kids” always seems to be reading. For example by reading books your always seeing words you don’t know. In school growing up your always taught to use the context clues to figure out the meaning of a word. When reading a book I normally notice when there is a word I do not know the definition or sometimes have even ever heard of the word. Not always but most the time I do stop my reading and reread the sentence the word is in and try to figure it out. Which is great practice to further your education. You are always reading words you don’t always know what they mean. Stopping and figuring out the word will help you remember the word if it comes up in the future.
